"When the cat's away"

Every time Dave is in Canada over a weekend...which is all too often, Jameson tends to give me a run for my money. Today was no exception. I was trying to clean things and get the guest room ready for when my sister and her husband come up to get their baby. Jameson was only out of my sight for 3-5 minutes! I found him in the family room doing this...(see picture!)

Good news we have microfiber couches and they cleaned up pretty well, but it definetly set the course for the day. I think my house is less clean now that it was when I woke up this morning. Just before we were needing to head over to the church for a fireside jameson dumped powdered sugar all over himself. My hat is off to those of you who have more than one at home! As much as I want another one...I am not sure I could handle another one like him!

Still learning

I have no clue how all this works so bear with me. Also evidentally I do not take pictures of myself. I have plenty of Dave and Jameson, but none of me. I will have to work on that. Any suggestions on the layout of these pages. I don't like how mine is set up with the 2 large pics at the bottom, but I couldn't manage to move them.

Yard work

When we moved in to our home here in Olympia the realtor warned us it was a jungle! The wonderful people who lived here previous were a bit reclusive and planted all manner of foilage to avoid visual contact with any neighbors. We have finally taken the steps to tame the wild beast. We had a holly bush that was 12 feet high and magnolias that were about 14 ft. It will be nice to make things more manageable. And as a bonus Jameson has been riding around with Rob Gifford from our ward on his John Deere tractor! Each morning he wakes up saying "mom ta tor" He was in heaven! I will post updates as the yard starts to take shape.
