As most of you know Jameson was a Christmas Eve baby. That was not planned of course, but just happened that way. We have worked hard to try and make Christmas Eve Jameson's birthday and not the prelim of the day to follow. Tues night we had some of Jameson's close friends over for cupcakes and a pinata. We had a great time! His favorite gift was a playdough toy that Hailey Mae gave him. The kids got a kick out of it. The spiderman pinata was also a hit...no punn intended! Jameson has a special way of showing his 3 fingers...he puts up his 1st, 4th and 5th fingers...no standard 1, 2 and 3 for him. On the 24th I had to work half of the day, so Jameson was home with Dave. We opened gifts and went to dinner and spent the rest of the evening at Grandma/pa "B's" house. We managed through the night with just one small battle wound on his bottome lip that he got trying to crawl under the table at the restraunt.
Some of the Hi-lights of the year for Jameson include...
- Changing babysitters as Christie got pregnant
- Learning twinkle twinkle in Chinese
- taking music classes with Vanessa Oblad (we can't get him to stop singing now!)
- figuring out how to manouver his Jeep including forward and reverse
- graduated to a toddler bed...and later overtook Everett's queen sized bed
- became a master of kung fu (thank you kung fo panda!)
- became a fan of Dora and Kai Lan
- Found out what "pop" and chips were :(
- vandalized his first (and hopefully last) car...if you want the full story let me know!
- spent time on time out for bad words, and started thinking he should put mom and dad on too if he caught us saying bad words!
- went down his first water slide and loved it
- became a fan of zip lines
- went to his first amusement park...is there a recurring theme with adrenaline???
- Spiderman became his hero
- "you're making my nuts!" was his version of what mom would say.
- Favorite things include his silky, buzz and woody and spiderman blankies. His "bop" has made a come back (I've heard it's normal when mom is having another baby!)
- He thinks popsicles should be a food group!
Well I could go on and on, but I am really thankful for such a smart, handsome son! We look forward to all that next year will bring!
